Requirements of Pakistan Atomic Energy Jobs

  • All of these positions will be filled on a “contract” basis, initially for up to five years. This, however, may be extended with the consent of both the employer and the employee and may continue until the age of retirement (60 years).
  • Where the required qualification is 1st Division/Class in the final degree, only one 2nd class degree from Matriculation onwards will be accepted for eligibility.
  • A first-class degree requires at least 60% marks for the annual system or a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 for the semester system, while a second-class degree requires at least 50% marks for the annual system or a CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 for the semester system.
  • All educational certificates, diplomas, and degrees must have been earned from government-recognized institutions.
  • The prescribed age limit for all of the aforementioned positions is between 18 and 35 years old as of the application deadline.
  • Experience will be considered if acquired only after the minimum prescribed qualification for each post.
  • By the advertisement’s closing date, all requirements—including degrees, certificates, experience, courses, etc.—must be satisfied.
  • Only those with Pakistani nationality are eligible to register. Those with dual nationality are ineligible.

  • Candidates who are currently working for a government, semi-government, or autonomous organization must apply through the proper channels and bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer to the test or interview.
  • Only applicants who meet the eligibility requirements may register. The candidacy of those who do not meet the specified requirements may be revoked at any point during or after the selection process. Throughout and after the selection process, no claim whatsoever from the candidate will be admissible.
  • The candidates may choose from five potential test centers (Islamabad, Chashma, Lahore, DG Khan, and Karachi); however, test centers may be finalized based on the number of applications received for each position. In the event that there are fewer applicants for a particular post at a particular center, candidates may be invited to appear for a test or interview at another neighboring center.
